With the weather being so wonderful this Easter Bank holiday weekend, it’s a good chance to check out the course of this year’s Bridport Jurassic Coast Run. Just put on some sun cream, take something to drink and go for a long walk (or run), starting from West Bay going all the way up westwards to the second highest hill on the South Coast, Thorncombe Beacon, down to Seatown and back.
If you rather prefer following a virtual tour of the whole course, you can see an animated video of the course here for the 10k and here for the half-marathon. More information and updated “Frequently Asked Questions” about the race can be found on the event page. The tough 10k(ish) race and the half-marathon (two loops of the 10k) along the beautiful Jurassic Coast will start Sunday, 11 August 2019, 10:30am, from the promenade in West Bay, Bridport. Online entries are open for the half-marathon and for the 10k via Full on Sport.
