Great results in Exeter’s Great Western

The Exeter Great West Run end of October (sorry for the late post) saw three Bridport Runners in it, as well: Stewart Townley, Gemma Snow and Jessica Symes were among the more than 2,600 starters in this popular race through Devon’s capital. The course on the traffic-free roads included Exeter City Centre and the University as well as the country lanes of St Andrews Road and Stoke Woods. Stewart was the first of the Bridport Runners to finish in 1 hour 46 minutes and 29 seconds which put him at rank 543. Gemma followed in 1 hour 48 minutes and 42 seconds (rank 643) while Jessica finished in 2 hours 14 minutes and 3 seconds. Both her and Stewart, who had done the Great Western Run last year, improved their times by a couple of minutes. Well done to all three of you!
